Focus World (Multiplatform of owned distribution and operated by Focus Features) has acquired the rights of the major territories in the world except France, Israel, Czech Republic and Slovakia, Benelux, Yugoslavia, Latin America, Greece, Australia and New Zealand.
Having shaken the Cannes Film Festival where the Julia Ducournau’s film, in competition at the Critics’ Week, won the FIPRESCI Prize for parallel sections (300 international critics Federation), in September Raw will be presented at the Toronto Film Festival (section Midnight Madness). This “wild and delightfully modern feminist fable” is preparing to seize the audience of the new continent. In the United States Raw will hit theaters in spring 2017.
In France, Wild Bunch will release the film the 15th March, 2017.
