Cristián Jiménez will be in Paris Monday, June 20 to present his new film VOIX OFF at a public premiere at Cinéma des Cinéastes, at 20h.
After the world tour of festivals, including through San Sebastian, Toronto, and Cabourg (where he received the Audience Award), the new film by Cristián Jiménez, will be distributed in France by JHR Films for release in theaters June 29th.
The film tells the story of Sofia, a young mother recently divorced Valdivia that will trigger a comedy and existential crisis family after her father tells her he wants a divorce too. A funny and melancholy film about separation, family transmission.

We already know the next project of the Chilean filmmaker. Cristián Jiménez embarks on the novel by François Sureau, The Way of the Dead, published in 2013 by Gallimard and critical acclaim.
Jiménez is responsible for writing the screenplay in collaboration with director / screenwriter Thomas Bidegain French (A Prophet, Rust and Bone, Saint Laurent, Cowboys).
This is the third collaboration between Red International and Cristián Jiménez, after Bonsái in 2011 (selected at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard) and voice over in 2015.
