Rouge International has two films selectionned at Cannes International Film Festival  2018 !

The State against Mandela and the others by Nicolas Champeaux et Gilles Porte – Official Selection out of competition – Special Screening

2018 marks the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela.
He seized centre stage during a historic trial in 1963 and 1964.

But there were eight others who, like him, faced the death sentence.

They too were subjected to pitiless cross-examinations. To a man they stood firm and turned the tables on the state: South Africa’s apartheid regime was in the dock.

Recently recovered sound archives of those hearings transport us back into the thick of the courtroom battles.

Murder Me, Monster (Muere, Monstruo, Muere) by Alejandro Fadel  – Un Certain Regard

Rural police officer Cruz investigates the bizarre case of a headless woman’s body found in a remote region by the Andes Mountains.

David, the husband of Cruz’s lover Francisca, becomes the prime suspect and is sent to a local mental hospital. David blames the crime to the inexplicable and brutal appearance of the “Monster.”

Cruz stumbles on a mysterious theory involving geometric landscapes, mountain motorcyclists and a mantra stuck in his head: Murder Me, Monster.
